Growing in Unity - Day 5

Hello Unity Friends! I can't believe this is the final day of my Growing in Unity week for Unity Stamp Company. I hope you have enjoyed the card projects I've shared this week. You all have left the sweetest comments each day. Don't forget to comment today too for a chance to win one of two $20 Unity gift credits. The two winners will be randomly selected from the comments at the end of this week. For my final post I have three more cards to share.

My first card starts with an A2 Kraft card base. I stamped "HI." from Gotta Love Sentiments directly onto the bottom right corner of the card base. Next I die cut a square using a wonky stitched square die, stamped the pretty rainbow image from the May 2024 KOM Spring & Simply Joys {kom 5/24}, and colored the rainbow in three shades of pink markers. I colored the flowers and leaves with Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pens, and sprayed a little Distress Spritz in Kitsch Flamingo over the top. Finally I wrapped some shiny pink thread around the bottom of the rainbow a number of times, taped it to the back, and popped it all up with foam tape. I think this turned out really cute!

What do you do when you've got an extra ATC and need a quick card? Find some pretty coordinating Unity paper and make it the focal point of a card! I trimmed a piece of paper from the Bohemian Dreams {Paper Pack}, ink blended around the edges a little, distressed the edges with a distressing tool, and adhered it directly to an A2 kraft card base. For the ATC I did some ink smooshing on a sheet of white card stock to use for both the background of the ATCs as well as the maple leaf I fussy cut out. The maple leaf was stamped from the August 2021 KOM Pumpkin Season {8/21}, gold heat embossed, and popped up on a fancy circle die cut from vellum. The ATC was embellished with some clear sparkle gems and adhered to a rectangle die cut using the Postage Stamp {nesting dies}. The matted ATC was popped up on the card front and the card was done!

And for my last card of the week I thought I'd share the Valentine's Day card I made for my husband this year. I die cut a piece of grey kraft card stock with a pretty scalloped rectangle die. I stamped the heart flourish from the Unity stamp set I Really Love You in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and clear heat embossed it. I water colored the hearts with Villainous Potion Distress Oxide ink, filled the hearts with Glossy Accents, and sprinkled them with Distress Glitter in "Clear Rock Candy" while the Glossy Accents was still wet. I embellished the upper left corner with three small grey hearts and popped the card panel up on the card base with foam tape. I stamped "Happy Valentine's Day" from the January 2025 KOM called Kinda Made for Each Other {kom 1/25} on the inside of the card.

I've had so much fun sharing all my card projects with you this week. I really appreciate all the sweet comments you have left and have enjoyed reading each and every one of them. Thanks so much for visiting my blog during my GIU week. Have a fabulous weekend!
