Growing in Unity - Day 4
Hello Unity Friends! Welcome to day four of my Growing in Unity week for Unity Stamp Company. Don't forget to comment each day for a chance to win one of two $20 Unity gift credits to be randomly selected from the comments at the end of my week. I have a few more cards to share today, this time using the Pansy Praise stamp set.
I started with a piece of grey kraft card stock, die cut with the Postage Stamp {nesting dies}, stamped the pansy image in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, topped with clear embossing powder, and heat set. I water colored the image using Evergreen Bough and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks mixed with Perfect Pearls and water for some shimmer. Black Soot Distress Oxide ink was blended around the outside edge. The card panel was foam mounted onto a black A2 card base. I stamped Happy Birthday from Gotta Love Sentiments - a must-have stamp set in my opinion! - onto a black card stock strip, heat embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder, and attached with foam tape. The final step was adding a few lavender gems to embellish.

This one is very similar to the previous card. However, I switched up the color of the leaves to Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink, added Studio Katia Storm Cloud pearls, and left off the sentiment.

This last pair of cards (see, I do listen to him and make an extra one sometimes!) started again with a black A2 card base. I used nesting stitched oval dies to die cut the grey kraft card stock as well as a black matting layer. I used the same inks to water color the image as the card above, ink blended around the outside again, and adhered to the black oval mat. I die cut some leaves from vellum and adhered to the card fronts using liquid glue which was then hidden by the ovals that were foam mounted to the black card bases. The cards were again finished off with Storm Cloud pearls.

Thanks for checking out my cards today. I hope you liked these cards and will stop by again tomorrow for my last post. Don't forget to comment - two $20 gift credits to Unity are up for grabs!
