Hello Unity Friends! Welcome to my second Growing in Unity post for Unity Stamp Company. Today I thought I would share a trio of cards. My husband always tells me if I'm going to take out all the things to make one card, why not make extras for my stash? And *sometimes* I actually do it!

For this group I wanted to try my hand at paper piecing. It's a technique I always forget about, but My Happy Place is pretty much the perfect stamp set to try it on - easy images to trim out! How fun are these? All three also use papers I've had in my stash for ages from the 6x6 paper pad Oliver by Basic Grey.

This first one uses just the patterned paper to make both the "room" and the chair and pillow. The chair and pillow were both stamped on various papers, trimmed, and popped up.

This card uses 3 different patterned papers to create the "room" and a fourth to create the cool arm chair. I also stamped the April 2023 BOM called Linen {bkg 4/23} onto a piece of white card stock, stamped the pillow onto that, trimmed it out, and ink blended around the edges. Then I stamped one of the hearts from Heart to Heart to embellish the pillow and foam mounted both the chair and pillow.

This final card uses a strip of patterned paper along the top as well as to make the arm chair. The black background paper was black card stock splattered with perfect pearls and water to make it sparkle. The "floor" was made by stamping the Paneling background stamp onto kraft card stock, and the pillow was again stamped onto Linen {bkg 4/23} along with another heart from the Heart to Heart set.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you liked the three cards I shared. And don't forget to comment each day for a chance to win a $20 gift credit to Unity Stamp Company!
